• Organic pigs are born in outdoor hut under free-range conditions with the piglets remaining with the sow until seven weeks of age. After weaning, the piglets will be moved to indoor housing systems provided with straw.
• All organic pigs must be fed coarse feed, which not only improves animal health, but also stimulates the pigs’ natural rooting behavior.
