KLUTH Dried Raw Turkish Figs (200g)

"KLUTH Dried Raw Turkish Figs" refers to high‑quality dried figs that are imported and sold by the German company Herbert Kluth (GmbH & Co. KG) and originate from Turkey.

• Long History: Herbert Kluth is a German family‑owned company founded in 1928, specialising in the import and processing of premium dried fruits, nuts, and organic products.

• Quality Certifications: The company holds International Featured Standards (IFS) certification and follows strict HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) protocols, ensuring that products meet high food safety and quality standards.

• Premium Origin: The raw materials come from Turkey, one of the world's largest producers and exporters of figs. They are sourced from major local producers, guaranteeing top‑tier raw material quality.

• Selected Variety: The product mainly uses the premium Lerida fig variety. Turkish figs are known for their thin skin.

• Natural Processing: The product emphasises "Raw" (meaning not deeply processed) and "Unsulphured" (no sulphur dioxide or chemical preservatives are used to retain colour). This makes it a more natural choice.

• Natural Phenomenon: During the spring and summer of the year after harvest, a white layer of natural fruit sugar crystals may appear on the surface of the figs. This is a natural protective coating formed by the fruit itself and is not mould – it can simply be rinsed off with water.

• Eat straight from the bag: Enjoy as a healthy, natural snack.

• Pair with breakfast: Add to bread, cereal, fruit salads, or yoghurt.

• Baking and cooking: Use in desserts, pastries, or to add a natural sweetness and fruity note to appetisers and main dishes.

This is a premium natural dried fig product carefully selected and imported by a reputable German company, originating from Turkey. It is an excellent choice whether as a healthy snack or a versatile cooking ingredient.
