Château Du Tertre dates back thousands of years to the 12th century. In the 17th century, the estate came into the hands of the de Ségur family, a key figure in the history of Bordeaux wine, who also owned Château Calon-Ségur, Phelan-Ségur, Latour, Mouton and Lafite.From Chateau du Tertre in Margaux — a classic left-bank terroir of gravelly soils and gentle elevation. Traditional vinification and aging in French oak produced a wine meant to age gracefully.

It has developed tertiary aromatic layers and an elegant, measured profile.Historic Margaux estate delivers genuine Bordeaux maturity at a fraction of modern trophy prices.Decanted briefly, this bottle shows bright red berries edged in cool mint, then settles into tertiary notes of dried leaf, leather and a touch of forest floor.
