Château Du Tertre dates back thousands of years to the 12th century. In the 17th century, the estate came into the hands of the de Ségur family, a key figure in the history of Bordeaux wine, who also owned Château Calon-Ségur, Phelan-Ségur, Latour, Mouton and Lafite.

Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressing with only first presses retained. Fermented in stainless steel and matured (notably with a portion aged in new French oak) for around nine months to build texture and complexity. The grapes come from elevated Margaux gravel outcrops where sun, drainage and a cooling stream temper heat and stress — ideal for balance and tension.
