Cordero di Montezemolo is a family run estate in the heart of the Barolo region in Piedmont, Italy, with a winemaking heritage spanning over six centuries. The estate’s history dates back to 1340. Today, the winery is managed by Giovanni Cordero di Montezemolo, together with his children Elena and Alberto, representing the 19th generation.

Fermentation for about 30 days at low temperature in stainless steel tanks, with a small part in old French oak barriques. Second fermentation in bottle. Aged on lees for 42-60 months. Disgorging and topping up with liqueur d’expédition made with the same base wine.

Since 1987, the Cordero family has sourced Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for Metodo Classico sparkling wine from vineyards in the highest areas of the Langa hills, at 400 metres and above.This Metodo Classico sparkler with fine, persistent bubbles reveals a complex bouquet of ripe peach, apricot, citrus, baked bread, yeast, and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, it is creamy and well‑structured, with vibrant acidity, concentrated notes of toast and nuts, and a long, dry finish.
