There is a very subtle reduction at play, quite tensile with a discrete marine influence. The palate is taut and fresh, quite edgy and stricter than the Clos de Jeanne, verging on shrill and citric towards the finish. "

Located in the heart of the Maconnais in the little village of Fuissé, Domaine J.A. Ferret has been exploring the richness of Pouilly-Fuissé's best terroirs since 1840. It was acquired byt Maison Louis Jadot acquired in 2008. Les Perrières is a premier cru site situated on steep, limestone-rich slopes. The name "Perrières" references the stony quarry soil, which endows this Chardonnay with high tension, saline drive, and immense mineral longevity.

Founded in Beaune in 1859, Maison Louis Jadot is one of Burgundy’s defining négociant houses. Head winemaker Frédéric Barnier focuses on a low-intervention approach designed to express individual sub-regional terroirs cleanly and accurately across their portfolio.

Gently pressed upon arrival, the juice is fermented and aged in French oak barrels (a mix of 228L and 600L, about 20–25% new oak) for 10–12 months, followed by 5–6 months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees. This regime balances richness with razor-sharp precision.

Brilliant pale green-gold. Fragrant aromas of ripe citrus, white peach, toasted almonds, and crushed flint rock. On the palate, it exhibits razor-sharp precision and density, combining a rich, silky mid-palate with a strikingly salty, persistent mineral finish.
