Finca Las Moras is currently part of the Peñaflor Group. Peñaflor Group is one of the world's top ten wine producers and the world's largest Malbec producer. It is one of Argentina's most prestigious, oldest, and largest wineries. Trapiche which belongs to the same group was Ranked as Argentina's most awarded winery for the fourth consecutive year. It is also named 'Winery of the Year. by Wine Enthusiast in 2019, and one of 'Wine & Spirits magazine's Top 100 Wineries' of 2020. Destemmed. Rotative fermenter with indigenous yeasts and pneumatic pressing. Natural malolactic fermentation. Auto clarifying racking. Ageing in French oak barrels for 15 months. Bottling and ageing for 8 months at controlled temperature. Grapes selected in the 3 main valleys of San Juan: Pedernal Valley (1350 MASL), Zonda Valley (850 MASL) and Tulum Valley (650 MASL). |
