JUGETSUDO Organic Natural Matcha Powder (50g)

JUGETSUDO Organic Natural Matcha Powder is a premium, 100% organic Japanese green tea powder produced by Jugetsudo (寿月堂), a historic tea house founded in Tokyo in 1854. The brand is known for blending high-quality ingredients with the spirit of "Cha-Zen" (tea and Zen as one) to create teas that are both flavorful and offer a sense of comfort.

This matcha is sourced from the Kawane region in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. This area is often called "the village in the sky" because the tea bushes are cultivated on mountain slopes at a high altitude of about 500 meters (1,600 feet).

The significant temperature differences between day and night at this elevation enhance the tea's natural sweetness and contribute to its rich, deep umami flavor.

The matcha offers a fresh, intense, and distinctive flavor. It is described as having a balanced sweetness and a delicately creamy texture. Its rich body and depth make it ideal for both traditional tea preparation and as a premium ingredient in cooking and baking.

JUGETSUDO Organic Natural Matcha is a high-quality, versatile matcha powder from a historic Japanese brand, celebrated for its rich umami flavor that comes from being grown in a unique, high-altitude environment.
