In Alsace, vines are considered "old' when they are 25 years old or more. At Ribeauvillé, the old vines are at least 30 years old. They have low yields, producing rich, complex wines. 

This Sylvaner Vieilles Vignes is first and foremost a wine for immediate enjoyment, refreshing, easy-drinking, yet structured with persistence and personality. It boasts surprising notes of white peaches and mirabelle plums. The palate is structured, fresh, and perfectly balanced by a ripe and well-integrated acidity.
