RIZZI Alta Langa Pas Dose 2021 (750mL)

Rizzi is a family‑run estate in the heart of the Barbaresco region in Piedmont, Italy, with winemaking roots dating back to the 18th century.  In 2006, the winery fully converted to solar energy, becoming the first solar‑powered winery in Barbaresco and one of the largest of its kind in Europe. 

Fermented in stainless steel tanks without malolactic fermentation. Aged for 7 months with regular bâtonnage (lees stirring). Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, followed by 30 months of aging on the lees. Disgorged with zero dosage.

Sourced from vineyards of various altitudes (270 to 430 meters) and exposures (North, North-East, West). The vines were planted in 1978 and 2014.Continuous fine perlage. The bouquet is intense and rich, revealing notes of grapefruit, citrus, walnut peach, and wildflowers. 

On the palate, it is ample and savoury, with lively acidity providing freshness; full-bodied yet elegant, it delivers considerable structure and remarkable persistence.
