SHIZUOKA DISTILLERY It is best known for possessing a direct-fire, wood-fired pot still (Pot Still W), making it one of the very few distilleries in the world today that steadfastly maintains the practice of using actual wood fires for distillation.

Founded in 2016, SHIZUOKA DISTILLERY is the first ever distillery to use Japanese cedar in its equipment. Their aim is to create a balanced whisky in harmony with the natural environment, and they are proud to offer a whole new whisky experience to all whisky lovers.

Nose: honey, toast, caramel, and ripe fruit (such as peach and apple), as well as a gentle peaty and earthy feel.
Palate: dried plum, green plum, and oak barrel, interwoven with elegant spices and a warm, oily texture, resulting in a very deep and complex
Finish: long-lasting fruity and honeyed aroma, with a gentle finish of peat, wax, and a unique lumberyard woody note, warm and lingering.
