This Japanese barbecue sauce features a bold flavour built on generous amounts of freshly grated garlic and onion. Whole garlic and onions are finely grated to create a sauce with a rich aroma, natural sweetness, and deep savoury character.
It works well both as a marinade and dipping sauce for grilled meat, and can also be used to add flavour to rice bowls, chilled tofu, seafood dishes, or stir-fried noodles.
