Product Features
- The largest monopole in Bourgogne, Clos Marey-Monge benefits from a unique environment. At the base of the hill of Pommard, the complexity of the soils comes from the alluvia, sand and gravel carried by the Avant-Dheune River a thousand years ago. The blend of the seven cuvées from the limestone and clay-rich soils creates a deep, elegant, and sophisticated Pinot Noir.
- "Nicolas-Joseph" cuvée has flat limestone rocks with red clay, resulting a fleshy, complex Pinot Noir with intense red fruits and sweet, silky tannins.
- This 2017 reveals a nose of blackcurrant and blackberries, and extends to the palate, alongside notes of sweet spices like cloves and cinnamon. Well-rounded tannins, full-bodied and fleshy.
