Tasting Note: One of the first four estates to produce Brunello di Montalcino dated back to 1800. CastelGiocondo is always set apart by its elegance. Complicated nose of fruity notes, dominated by blueberry and blackberry, followed by floral hints of violet and dog rose, supported by clear spicy notes of black pepper and cardamom, and liquorice. On the palate, the tannins are dense but not harsh, accompanied by delicate mineral notes.
