With a glossy, smooth outer skin, and firm, cream coloured flesh, Dutch Eggplant is tender with a rich flavour after cooked. One of the versatile vegetables, it is ideal for baking, sauteing, grilling and roasting. Partners well with tomatoes, grilled and baked fish, chicken and steak. It can be sliced and pan-fried or grilled and used in pasta dishes, or stews as well.
