Rizzi farms roughly 40 hectares across six celebrated crus in the Barbaresco zone, making it one of the largest, most interesting and most important estates in Barbaresco.

Fermented in stainless steel vats, the wine underwent 8 days of traditional skin maceration with partial submersion of the cap. It was then aged in the same vats for an additional 6 months.

The wine comes from the village of Treiso, considered one of the best areas for Dolcetto d'Alba: it is known for its fragrance, elegance, and distinct floral notes.The estate's style seeks freshness, fruity fragrance, and drinkability (all achieved with a fairly low alcohol content). 

Intense ruby-purple in colour, it is characterised on the nose by pleasant floral and spicy sensations, with roses and white pepper. The wine is versatile and adapts well to many pairings and situations.
