Decanter: "Rich notes of poached pear launch from the glass, in this wine comprised of fruit from the San Luis Obispo and Monterrey County appellations. Ripe pineapple flesh and intense white peaches with dabs of honeyed ginger. The palate shows a richness and intensity that's hard to resist. Rich tropical fruits mingle with whisps of candied ginger and a dash of sea salt."

Calera was founded by Josh Jensen, whose early experiences in Burgundy ignited a lifelong fascination with limestone soils and their role in shaping the world’s most compelling Pinot Noirs. Guided by this insight, Jensen set out to find a site in California capable of producing wines of comparable depth, structure, and longevity.
