The vineyards are planted on carefully selected sites of sloping benches that lead to the banks of the Arroyo del Valle and Arroyo Mocho streams. Grapes from these Zinfandel vineyards produce luscious wines with deep richness. Each variety was fermented separately in stainless-steel tanks with Pneumatage twice a day to maximize extraction of flavors and colors. The wine was aged separately in stainless-steel tanks for 20 months.

Crafted by the oldest continuously family-owned and operated winery in the United States, an iconic winery in the Livermore Valley. They were pioneers in introducing Chardonnay grapes to America, and now some of the top wineries in the US use their Wente Clone Chardonnay. Their wines are a regular feature on the White House state dinner wine list and consistently receive high scores of 90 points or more from various wine critics.
