This ramen features a rich pork bone soup made from Kagoshima–grown black pork bones, carefully simmered to bring out a deep yet balanced flavour. The broth highlights the natural sweetness and aroma of vegetables, creating a mellow and satisfying taste. A distinctive element of Kagoshima-style ramen, toasted spring onion, is included to add a subtle smoky note that enhances the overall depth of the soup.
Cooking Instructions
1. Bring 480 mL of water to a boil, add the noodles, and cook for 3 minutes.
2. Turn off the heat, add the soup base and seasoning oil, and stir well.
3. Transfer to a bowl and serve hot. Optional toppings include boiled cabbage, bean sprouts, sliced roast pork, and spring onion.
