Terms and Conditions (Effective on 1 January 2026)

super e membership program is operated by City Super Limited ("CSL") and is governed by the following Terms and Conditions. The Programme shall only be valid within the Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and at physical CSL stores/the eShop within those territories. By applying for super e membership, or using any part of the member site or mobile application, you agree that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you accept and agree to be bound by them; you further agree to provide with us your personal data (“Personal Data”, as defined in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap.486) of Hong Kong), and agree that we may collect and use your Personal Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy Statement.

  1. Definitions
    1. "Membership Card" means the card issued to you to enjoy benefits upon successful registration with the super e membership programme. Unless otherwise specified, it refers to both the physical card and the electronic card on the mobile application ‘city'super HK'.
    2. "Stored Value" refers to the money loaded onto the membership card.
    3. "Loyalty Points" means the points awarded to you based on net purchases at CSL stores and eShop.
    4. "super e Reward Redemption” means that during the valid anniversary, super e-gold members can redeem the corresponding reward on the super e Reward Redemption site based on valid loyalty points.
    5. "Effective Period" means the 12 months following the membership effective date, upgrade date or renewal date.
    6. "Member Site" means pages of the CSL website which are accessible only to members.
    7. "Stores" means physical retail outlets operated by CSL in Hong Kong.
    8. "E-Shop" means the online retail outlet (https://online.citysuper.com.hk/ , https://cake.citysuper.com.hk/ , https://logon.com.hk/ ) operated by CSL in Hong Kong or Macao
  2. Application for Membership
    1. Application for super e membership (“member”, including all membership tiers) is free upon filling in the required information on the registration form provided by CSL, agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and completing the verification of the applicant’s mobile phone number. No membership fee and minimum spending are required for membership registration. Registration can be made via:
      1. city’super stores
      2. LOG-ON stores
      3. city’super E-Shop
      4. LOG-ON E-Shop
      5. city’super social media pages
      6. LOG-ON social media pages
      7. city’super HK mobile application
    2. If an application is successful, the applicant, who must be aged 18 years or above, will be given one electronic membership card on the mobile application.
    3. Applicants must ensure that the information submitted on the registration form is authentic, accurate, complete, not misleading and without any elements of fraud.
    4. Members can log into the Member Site or mobile application upon successful registration at the mobile application, any of our stores or online. Once logged in, members can check their purchase and loyalty points record, as well as member rewards.
    5. To ensure super e members receive promotional offers and discounts, members may be requested to supplement or provide us with their complete and accurate personal data, including but not limited to their membership birthday information, interest and address upon logging in for the first time.
    6. Unique user name (i.e. email address) may be used by a member to log into the Member Zone or mobile application, where they can also reset their password in the “Forgot Password” section. If a member forgets their password, a new password will be sent to their registered email address.
    7. Applicants must register a correct and valid mobile number from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Macau or Taiwan to receive an SMS authentication code. Applicants must be the legitimate owner of the registered mobile number (note: the SMS authentication code will only be sent to the applicant’s registered mobile number, i.e. if the applicant has turned on SMS Divert service, the SMS authentication code will still only be sent to the registered mobile number, but not another mobile number that the applicant has diverted to). An email will be sent to a new member after successful registration for their records.
    8. To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any claim, demand, liability or action resulting from customer’s/member's omission, neglect and/or failure to supply us with their updated information, or from the accuracy and completeness of those data.
  3. Membership & Validity
    1. super e membership will automatically expire if no purchase has been recorded in the past 36 months; in this case all unused stored value will be automatically forfeited.
    2. super e-gold membership is valid for one year. Once a member accumulates HK$30,000 net spending within the membership effective period, his/her super e-gold membership will be automatically retained and renewed for the next year; conversely, if a member's accumulative net spending is less than HK$30,000, his/her super e-gold membership will be downgraded to super e accordingly. Effective period refers to the 12 months following the membership effective date, upgrade date or renewal date (i.e. if the effective date super e was upgraded to super e-gold is 1 September, the expiry date will be 31 August the following year).
    3. All membership accumulative spending will be automatically reset to zero at the end of the effective period.
    4. Membership upgrades and downgrades are automatically handled by the system, based on accumulated spending where purchase of city’super Gift Cards and Shopping Vouchers are excluded. Members cannot choose to be upgraded or not to be downgraded.
  4. Membership Usage & Member Discounts
    1. Any exercise of membership rights and any member-related transactions including payment with stored value, member discounts, loyalty point accumulation, product exchange, refunds and so on must be made with a membership card for record-keeping purposes.
    2. A member can only use his or her designated electronic membership card to log into one mobile device simultaneously. Both the membership card and the membership account is non-transferrable. If abuse or misuse is found, CSL reserves the right to terminate or suspend the membership.
    3. For any purchase at the CSL Hong Kong or Macao eShop, a member must log into his or her membership account to obtain the discount and loyalty points; only one membership card can accumulate loyalty points or use eCoupons or stored value for each transaction.
    4. Shopping privileges are not applicable to purchases of Shopping Vouchers, city’super Gift Cards, and discounted and specified items/counters. Please refer to instore price tags and promotional materials. A 10% discount is applicable to these affiliated merchants - Anteprima, Atsuro Tayama, INDIVI, OZOC, Pearly Gates, Furla, Heroic Rendezvous, Cocktail and Vetement.
    5. If a super e member applies for a physical membership card, or if a super e-gold member loses a physical card and requires a replacement, a non-refundable handling fee of HK$40 will be charged.
    6. Purchases of city’super Gift Cards and Shopping Vouchers, super e card stored value top-up, delivery service charges and wrapping service charges do not qualify for any loyalty points, accumulative spending or free delivery service.
    7. Members are responsible for the maintenance and use of their membership cards. CSL is not responsible for any loss incurred from stolen or loss of membership card.
    8. A member should notify us immediately by calling the Customer Service Hotline (852) 2736 3866 (Mondays to Fridays 10:00am to 6:00pm except Public Holidays.) if any error occurs when conducting a transaction with their card, or if their card is lost.
  5. Loyalty points, super e Reward Redemption (eCoupons) & Stored Value

    Loyalty points
    1. By showing your super e card on payment, every dollar you spend at city'super, LOG-ON stores and the eShop will be converted to 1 loyalty point. Purchases of city'super Gift Cards or Shopping Vouchers, stored value top-up, delivery charges and gift-wrapping charges are not eligible. Loyalty points granted may vary in promotions.
    2. Loyalty points are valid for 12 months following the effective date of a membership, and loyalty points collected after this date will be calculated in calendar year. Loyalty points accumulated during a calendar year are valid from the effective date until the end of that year. Expired loyalty points will be automatically forfeited.
    3. Membership cards must be presented upon transaction to earn loyalty points. Members should check and update their electronic card before payment to ensure an efficient payment process.
    4. Spending records and loyalty points will normally be issued and updated within 36 hours of purchase, except for specified promotions.
    5. Stored value in the card is non-returnable, non-refundable and non-transferable; all unused balance will be forfeited when membership expires.
    6. Members who forget to bring their membership card can contact the Customer Service Counter on the same day before payment to get membership record card or barcode for recording the purchase and loyalty points. Membership data will be requested for identity verification purposes.
    7. The loyalty point records of CSL shall prevail. CSL will not accept any claim of missing loyalty points after transaction.
    8. Loyalty points are non-transferable and non-divisible, and loyalty points stored in different membership cards cannot be used in combination.
    9. Loyalty points can be checked on Member Site or mobile application.
      • For super e members - upon accumulating the designated amount of loyalty points, the corresponding eCoupon will be automatically issued to super e members’ accounts. Once an eCoupon is issued, it implies the corresponding loyalty points have been deducted.
      • For super e-gold members - super e-gold members can redeem rewards anytime on the super e Reward Redemption Site during the valid anniversary year. Once a redemption is confirmed, it implies the corresponding loyalty points have been deducted.
    10. All cancelled transactions and shopping refunds will result in the automatic deduction of loyalty points obtained from them, including the extra loyalty points earned from specific promotions.
    Super e Reward Redemption (eCoupons)

    super e-gold
    1. A super e-gold member can redeem eCoupon(s) in different values with their accumulated loyalty point anytime during the valid anniversary year. The Reward eCoupon redemption is available on super e-gold exclusive redemption website while stocks last. The points balance will be reset to zero upon reaching anniversary date and no redemption arrangement can be made with fewer points than the minimum of 15,000. Any unused points balance, expired or invalid points will be forfeited and will not be re-issued.
      1. One HK$150 eCoupon could be redeemed upon 15,000 points;
      2. One HK$450 eCoupon could be redeemed upon 30,000 points;
      3. One HK$1,000 eCoupon could be redeemed upon 50,000 points;
      4. One HK$2,500 eCoupon could be redeemed upon 100,000 points
    2. super e-gold members may redeem the Reward eCoupon(s) based on the amount of loyalty points accumulated in the account and the desired Reward eCoupon amount. Redeemed eCoupon(s) are non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, sold, exchanged for any other products or services, other vouchers, cash refund or change.
    3. Respective loyalty points will be deducted from members’ accounts upon any Reward eCoupon redemption and a confirmation email will be sent once the redemption is confirmed. The redemption cannot be changed or cancelled, expired offers will not be accepted and no retrospective arrangements will be made. Members are required to present membership card and confirmation SMS for verification upon Reward redemption.
    4. Reward eCoupon(s) must be used before its expiry date. There is no minimum spending requirement for any reward eCoupon redeemed by super e-gold members. The expired rewards will be regarded as abandoned and no replacement will be arranged. Related reward loyalty points will not be returned.
    5. The Reward eCoupon(s) cannot be used for the purchases of city'super Gift Cards, Shopping Vouchers, stored value top-up, delivery charges and gift-wrapping charges, and in conjunction with any promotion or coupons.
    6. The Reward eCoupon(s) can only be used at physical stores in Hong Kong and not applicable to the E-Shops. Valid for 60 days; any expired or invalid eCoupon(s) will not be re-issued. There is no limit to the number of reward eCoupon(s) that can be used per transaction. The total value of an eCoupon will be deducted in full when used. Any unused balance will be forfeited.
    7. The Reward eCoupon(s) are non-transferable and must be used together with a valid physical or electronic membership card for verification.
    8. All cancelled transactions or shopping refunds will result in the automatic deduction of points obtained from it, including the extra loyalty points earned from specific promotions.
    9. All rewards are only available while stocks last. CSL has the right to terminate the provision of particular rewards or provide similar rewards as an alternative without prior notice. CSL does not guarantee any rewards will continue to be available during the promotional period.
    10. City Super Limited reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of eCoupon(s) redemption without prior notice, and of final decision on all matters of dispute.
    super e
    1. One HK$10 Reward eCoupon will be issued for every 1,000 loyalty points, two will be issued for 2,000 loyalty points, and so on. Reward eCoupons are automatically issued by the system the following day based on the loyalty points balance.
    2. One HK$10 eCoupon can be used for each HK$30 spent, two HK$10 eCoupons for each HK$60 spent, and so on. This Reward eCoupon cannot be used for the purchases of city'super Gift Cards or Shopping Vouchers, stored value top-up, delivery charges and gift-wrapping charges, and in conjunction with any promotion or coupons. Combined receipts will not be accepted.
    3. The HK$10 Reward eCoupon can only be used at physical stores in Hong Kong and not applicable to the E-Shops. Valid for 60 days; any expired or invalid eCoupons will not be re-issued. There is no limit to the number of reward eCoupon(s) that can be used per transaction. The total value of an eCoupon will be deducted in full when used. Any unused balance will be forfeited.
    4. The HK$10 Reward eCoupon(s) is non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, sold, exchanged for any other products or services, other vouchers, cash refund or change.
    5. The HK$10 Reward eCoupon(s) is non-transferable and must be used together with a valid physical or electronic membership card for verification.
    6. All cancelled transactions or shopping refunds will result in the automatic deduction of points obtained from it, including the extra loyalty points earned from specific promotions.
    7. City Super Limited reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of eCoupon use without prior notice, and of final decision on all matters of dispute.
    Stored Value
    1. HK$3,000 is the highest value storable per membership card, and HK$100 is the minimum. Value must be added in multiples of HK$100. The top-up service is available at physical stores in Hong Kong only. Payment using stored value is also applicable to transactions at physical stores in Hong Kong only. If the card balance is insufficient to pay the required transaction, the card can be used in combination with cash, credit cards, EPS or Octopus card to settle the rest of the payment. Payment using stored value is not applicable to E-Shop transactions.
  6. Birthday Rewards

    super e-gold
    1. super e-gold member is entitled to an exclusive city'super-branded gift from the City Super Group during the birthday month. The gift will be issued as an eCoupon into the super e-gold member account on the first day of their birthday month. Gift redemption is valid for 30 days, any expired or invalid birthday eCoupon(s) will not be re-issued.
    2. Birthday gift must be redeemed or collected within the birthday month of super e-gold member at our designated physical stores in Hong Kong. Redemption gifts are non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or exchanged for any other products or services. The expired rewards will be regarded as abandoned and no replacement will be arranged.
    3. The redemption cannot be changed or cancelled, expired offers will not be accepted and no retrospective arrangements will be made. Members are required to present membership card and the birthday eCoupon for verification upon Reward collection.
    super e
    1. A 10% discount eCoupon will be issued automatically on the first day of the member's birthday month. This coupon will be automatically applied to the first eligible transaction within the member's birthday month.
    2. There’s no minimum or maximum limit to the transaction amount made for the 10% off discount eCoupon. The 10% off discount eCoupon can only be used at physical stores in Hong Kong and not applicable to the E-Shops. Valid within the members’ birthday month; any expired or invalid eCoupons will not be re-issued.
    3. The 10% off discount eCoupon cannot be used for the purchase of city'super Gift Cards, Shopping Vouchers, stored value top-up, delivery charges and gift-wrapping charges, and in conjunction with any other promotion or coupons. The eCoupon is not applicable to fixed price and specified items or counters; and cannot be used for the purchase of baby formula, cigarettes and Nintendo Switch and PlayStation® products.
    4. The 10% off discount eCoupon cannot be used in conjunction with year-round Member Price discount, other member reward eCoupons, promotional offers or coupons.
    5. The 10% off discount eCoupon cannot be redeemed as cash or other vouchers. The value of an eCoupon will be deducted in full when used. Any unused eCoupon will be forfeited.
    6. The 10% off discount eCoupon are non-transferable and must be used together with a valid physical or electronic membership card for verification.
    7. All cancelled transactions or shopping refunds will result in the automatic deduction of points obtained from it, including the extra loyalty points earned from specific promotions.
  7. Happy super e Journey
    1. Each member can participate in the Happy super e Journey page via the mobile application 4 times at most per calendar year; while every 3 calendar months as a phase, which are January – March, April – June, July – September, October – December.
    2. Happy super e Journey includes 4 spending missions across brands under the City Super Group. A HK$50 Reward eCoupon would only be unlocked when all missions are achieved in 3 calendar months. Failure to complete any one of the missions will result in an invalid entry, and no awards will be granted while all missions will be reset to zero. Members must present their super e card on payment in order to receive Happy super e Journey e-stamps.
    3. Happy super e Journey includes a total of 4 spending missions, which are clearly listed in the mobile application and an e-stamp would be automatically issued to the account upon achieving the corresponding missions. Successfully earned e-stamps will be issued and displayed in the Happy super e Journey page in the mobile application within 36 hours of the valid transactions.
    4. The spending missions are validated as follow:
      1. A single net spend of HK$100 or more at cafe ToGather/ Danish Bar/ Fusion Deli/ Little Mermaid/ RF1/ sweets house Cha Cha qualifies for one electronic stamp. Any non-food counter & restaurant products from city'super or LOG-ON that appear on the same receipt will not be counted toward this mission.
      2. A single net spend of HK$300 or more at city'super and city'super neighbourhood qualifies for one electronic stamp. Products purchased from cafe ToGather/ Danish Bar/ Fusion Deli/ Little Mermaid/ RF1/ sweets house Cha Cha in the same receipt will not be counted.
      3. If a single receipt includes products from more than one brand (i.e., a mix of city'super or city'super neighbourhood and LOG-ON products), the brand printed on the receipt will determine the calculation. For example: All products paid at city'super counters will be counted toward the city'super spending mission; all products paid at LOG-ON counters will be counted toward the LOG-ON spending mission; all products purchased at city'super neighbourhood branches will be counted toward city'super neighbourhood.
      4. The only exception is for all transactions at the atrium of Times Square in Causeway Bay, where the net spend on the receipt will be counted toward either the city'super or LOG-ON spending mission, regardless of whether the purchased products belong to city'super or LOG-ON.
      5. All qualifying spending under the Happy super e Journey is calculated on a mutually exclusive basis. Once the net amount (or any portion thereof) of a transaction has been counted towards the completion of one mission, the same amount (or the same portion) will not be counted towards any other mission in the same cycle, regardless of the brands appearing on the receipt or the payment counter used.
    5. e-stamps collected from the Happy super e Journey is valid in every 3 calendar months (as a phase). Any e-stamps earned during the specific phase is/ are only valid within the phase (3 calendar months as a phase), and will be automatically forfeited after the phase and will not be carried forward to the next phase.
    6. Purchases of selected products or counters, baby formula, cigarettes, gift/shopping vouchers, purchase or top-up of city'super Gift Cards, delivery charges, gift wrapping charges, transactions using prepaid cards or stored value cards, reloads, top-ups, recharging, value-added service, in conjunction with super e-gold card year-round discount, other member reward eCoupons, promotional offers or coupons, or at any self-checkout counter are not eligible for receiving the Happy super e Journey e-stamp.
    7. The e-stamp is non-returnable, non-refundable, non-transferable and non-divisible; all unused e-stamps will be forfeited when membership expires. All e-stamps earned must be collected on the same Happy super e Journey page under the same and single membership account for redemption; combined use of e-stamps across different membership, in different calendar year or in different calendar month phase is not allowed.
    8. The e-stamp cannot be redeemed for cash. Only one e-stamp will be issued upon completion of each mission, any duplicated completion of the same mission within the same phase will not be admitted.
    9. A new E-stamps collection page will only be refreshed upon the end of each phase (with 3 calendar months per phase). Early completion of missions before the end of a phase will not trigger a new stamp collection page.
    10. E-stamps collection status can be checked by members through the Happy super e Journey page in the mobile application, while eligible members must visit the Happy super e Journey page and click “Redeem Now” in order to receive the eCoupon.
    11. All cancelled transactions and shopping refunds will result in the automatic deduction of e-stamps obtained from them.
    12. All rewards may be subject to change due to stock supply; and City Super Limited reserves the right to offer an alternative gift as a replacement. No retrospective arrangement will be made.
    13. The e-stamp collection cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or cash coupons. Only e-stamp collected from the campaign page created by the City Super Limited would be regarded as valid.
    14. The e-stamp records of CSL shall prevail. CSL will not accept any claim of missing e-stamp after transaction.
    15. The HK$50 eCoupon will be issued to the membership account within 36 hours upon the successful redemption of eligible members who visited the Happy super e Journey page and clicked “Redeem Now”. Members may log in to the mobile application to redeem the eCoupon and view the eCoupon details and duration of validity.
    16. The HK$50 Reward eCoupon can only be used at physical stores in Hong Kong and not applicable to the E-Shops. Valid for 60 days; any expired or invalid eCoupons will not be re-issued.
    17. There is no minimum spending requirement for the HK$50 Reward eCoupon. It cannot be used for the purchases of city'super Gift Cards or Shopping Vouchers, stored value top-up, delivery charges and gift-wrapping charges, and in conjunction with any promotion or coupons. Combined receipts will not be accepted.
    18. The HK$50 eCoupon cannot be redeemed for cash, sold, exchanged for any other products or services, other vouchers, cash refund or change. The eCoupon is non-returnable, non-refundable, non-divisible and non-transferable, and must be used together with a valid physical or electronic membership card for verification. The total value of an eCoupon will be deducted in full when used. Any unused balance will be forfeited.
    19. All cancelled transactions or shopping refunds will result in the automatic deduction of points obtained from it, including the extra loyalty points earned from specific promotions.
    20. City Super Limited reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of Happy super e Journey without prior notice, and of final decision on all matters of dispute.
  8. Quiz & Earn
    1. super e members can join the Quiz & Earn campaign via the mobile application. All members must login to their membership account in order to participate in the quiz and receive awarded loyalty points.
    2. The activity is available on every Wednesday in each calendar month. One question would be assigned each time with corresponding loyalty points awarded upon correct answer submissions. Each member can only participate in the quiz once per week.
    3. A designated period is allowed for answering each question. Any late submissions will be considered invalid. No loyalty points will be awarded for correct answers submitted late.
    4. 20 loyalty points will be awarded to members' accounts upon providing a correct and successful answer each time. The 20 loyalty points will be issued to members’ membership within 36 hours upon successful answer.
    5. Loyalty points earned from the Quiz & Earn campaign are valid from the issue date until the member’s anniversary date, and loyalty points collected after this date will be calculated in another anniversary year. Expired loyalty points will be automatically forfeited.
    6. Loyalty points earned from the Quiz & Earn campaign cannot be redeemed for cash. The loyalty points are non-returnable, non-refundable, non-divisible and non-transferable; all unused balance will be forfeited when membership expires. Loyalty points stored in different membership cards cannot be used in combination.
    7. The loyalty point records of CSL shall prevail. CSL will not accept any claim of missing loyalty points after the end of the activity.
    8. Loyalty points can be checked on Member Site or mobile application.
    9. City Super Limited reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of Bi-Weekly Quiz without prior notice, and of final decision on all matters of dispute.
  9. super e-gold Upgrade / Renewal Offer
    1. A HK$50 Reward eCoupon will be awarded to i) the existing super e members upgraded successfully to super e-gold tier or ii) the existing super e-gold members renewed their super e-gold membership successfully. The Reward eCoupon will be automatically issued by the system the following day based on the successful membership upgrade/ renewal.
    2. The HK$50 eCoupon can be used upon single net purchase of HK$250. Purchases of city'super Gift Cards or Shopping Vouchers, stored value top-up, delivery charges and gift wrapping charges are not eligible. Combined receipts will not be accepted.
    3. The HK$50 Reward eCoupon can only be used at physical stores in Hong Kong and not applicable to the E-Shops. Valid for 60 days; any expired or invalid eCoupon will not be re-issued and no retrospective arrangements will be made.
    4. The HK$50 Reward eCoupon cannot be redeemed for cash, sold, exchanged for any other products or services, other vouchers, cash refund or change. The eCoupon is non-returnable, non-refundable, non-divisible and non-transferable, and must be used together with a valid physical or electronic membership card for verification. The total value of an eCoupon will be deducted in full when used. Any unused balance will be forfeited.
    5. All cancelled transactions or shopping refunds will result in the automatic deduction of points obtained from it, including the extra loyalty points earned from specific promotions.
    6. City Super Limited reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of eCoupon use without prior notice, and of final decision on all matters of dispute.
  10. General
    1. Reminders of member benefits and promotions will be sent to members via email or SMS. Members should provide valid email address and mobile phone number to avoid missing out on important notices.
    2. CSL is not responsible for any case of undelivered email messages or notifications.
    3. CSL is not responsible for any loss of loyalty points due to technological or system problems.
    4. CSL has the absolute discretion to refuse and/or revoke the registration of any applicant and to terminate and/or cancel the registration of such applicant for any reason whatsoever. In the event a membership is terminated by us for any reason(s), related loyalty points will also be forfeited immediately.
    5. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity and unenforceability shall not affect the remainder of the Terms and Conditions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
    6. All terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR and members agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the territory.
    7. CSL reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
    8. Should there be any dispute, CSL reserves the right of final decision.
    9. In case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall apply and prevail.
