The extremely popular handmade aroma brand BeCandle from Sai Kung is loved for its high-quality craftsmanship and small-batch production, making it a favourite among fragrance enthusiasts. Urban Coffee Roaster, a champion coffee shop and coffee bean roasting house in Hong Kong, carefully selects and roasts its coffee beans with great attention from its team. Both local brands are fragrance experts and will collaborate for the first time in the Mood Flavouring aroma journey, a special aromatic coffee workshop that promises to be a feast for the senses of smell and taste. Urban Coffee Roaster will bring three selected types of coffee bean, and participants will be guided by founder and champion barista Gary Au to brew coffee using the Aiden precision hand-pour smart coffee machine, combining it with three fragrances created by BeCandle to craft exclusive aromatic coffee drinks.

Brand Story Urban Coffee Roaster, established in 2014, is an authentic brand from Hong Kong. U.C.R. was co-founded by two coffee enthusiasts with a primary aspiration to supply freshly roasted specialty coffee beans from carefully picked origins. On top of supplying coffee beans, U.C.R. has expertise in mobile coffee services, including event driven coffee catering, such as corporate events, farmers' markets or private events.

Be a Home Barista: Barista Training Experience
Throughout the campaign, different stores will host surprise coffee demonstration pop-ups at Experience Avenue. From introducing various types of coffee bean to showcasing coffee-making equipment, grinding and brewing techniques to latte art (think heart shapes, roses and tulips!), skilled baristas will be giving live demonstration so customers can enrich their knowledge of coffee and how to make it.

Latest Coffee Equipment Showcase
Renowned coffee equipment brands Fellow and WPM, popular thermos brand MiiR, and internationally recognised kitchenware brand Bodum will showcase their latest coffee equipment. Urban Coffee Roaster’s award-winning 2-WayCup will also be making an appearance.

Champion Baristas x Aiden Coffee Maker Workshop
Sponsored by Fellow, participating champion baristas will share tips with attendees on how to brew coffee using the Aiden Precision Smart Coffee Maker.
