Taiwanese Honey Snow Mango - Case
A hybrid between the Irwin Mango and Summer Snow Mango, the Snow Mango has a lovely peach red colour. Its pulp is delicate with very little fibre, and is sweet with a unique floral aroma.

Taiwanese Summer Snow Mango - Case
The naturally ripen Snow Mango has yellow skin with an excellent balance between sweetness and acidity. Its texture is very fine and similar to that of Irwin Mangoes, but it also has the rich aroma of local mangoes. It combines the strengths of Jin Kuang, Irwin and local mangoes, and is fondly known as the “LV of mangoes”.

One of Taiwan's specialities made from the roe of wild female mullet fish using traditional methods. It’s usually prepared by deep-frying, grilling or cooking in wine. The cooked mullet roe is thinly sliced and served with apple slices, white radish slices or scallions. This unique and flavourful snack is perfect with alcoholic drinks.

How to make grilled mullet roe?
Without removing the membrane, brush the surface of the mullet roe evenly with 58% sorghum liquor or Chinese baijiu, and let it rest for 1 to 2 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C and grill the mullet roe for about 3 to 5 minutes until the surface turns golden yellow.

About the Guest Performer:
Mr Xu Junjie is from the Pingtung County’s Songtian Agricultural Special Products Cooperative in Taiwan, and his family has been in the fruit business for 40 years. He had spent many years learning how to cut and open different types of fruits, such as pineapples, watermelons, papayas and hami melons. In 2007, he and his godbrother Wang Xingle founded Asia Pineapple. With their premium products and amazing knife skills, the two receive frequent invitations from the government and department stores to showcase their skills.
