Chia Seed Pudding
Chia seeds are loved by many as they are tasty and very filling. This superfood is rich in nutrients and expands over 12 times when added with water. Chia seeds slow the conversion of carbs into simple sugars, so they can help regulate blood sugar levels in the body and promote weight loss. When you make the pudding, add your preferred supplement powder to make this an even healthier dessert!
3 tbsp of honey
1 cup of strawberries, cut into cubes 2/3 cup chia seeds
Inca inchi powder (or your preferred supplement powder)
- In a bowl, add milk, honey, strawberries and supplement powder. Mix well and add chia seeds. Stir to combine.
- Divide mixture into 4 jars. Cover with lid and place in fridge overnight.
- Top with your choice of fruits before serving.
Cooling Watermelon Sorbet
Ice cold desserts are called for in the sizzling summer heat! If you’re worried about ice cream having too many calories, why not make your own watermelon sorbet? You can even make this together with your kids at home for some quality family time, and get them to add their favourite natural ingredients!
1.5 cups banana, sliced and frozen
Juice of half a lime
1 tsp maple syrup
- Cut watermelon and other fruits of your choice into cubes and freeze (except lime).
- Add frozen fruits, maple syrup and lime juice into blender and blend (no need to add water).
- Pour mixture into a freezer-safe container. Freeze for 3 to 4 hours. Enjoy!
Super Easy Baked Banana Chips
Really want to bake but all the steps intimidate you? Here’s a super easy recipe that only requires five ingredients and five steps. The result? Golden banana chips that you and your friends will love!
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp salt
2.5 tbsp grapeseed oil
- Preheat oven to 170℃.
- Cut banana into thin slices.
- Mix curry powder, paprika, salt and grapeseed oil together.
- Pour mixture over banana slices.
- Place non-stick baking paper on baking tray, then place banana slices on top. Bake for 20 minutes.
