This Mapo Tofu sauce includes minced meat, so you only need to prepare tofu to easily cook this classic Chinese dish.
The thickening powder is made from carefully refined potato starch selected for its quality, delivering a smooth and silky texture. It contains Marumiya’s original blend with ginger and garlic.
Each pack serves three people and contains two servings.
The sauce blends original miso with doubanjiang (fermented chili bean paste) and adds the gentle richness of whole chicken broth, creating a mild and flavorful taste that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
How to cook:
1. Prepare the thickening liquid.
2. In a frying pan, combine one serving of the Mapo Tofu sauce, 180 mL of water (just under 1 cup), and tofu. Heat gently while stirring until it comes to a boil.
3. Turn off the heat. Stir the thickening liquid well, then slowly pour it in while mixing.
4. Turn the heat back on and simmer over medium heat while stirring until thickened. Done!
Store in cool dry place
