Cooking tip: Bring over 2 L of water to a boil, add the noodles gradually, and cook for about 4 minutes while adjusting the heat to prevent boiling over. Drain well and rinse thoroughly in cold water. Serve chilled with dipping sauce as zaru soba (cold soba noodles with dipping sauce), or in a warm broth as kake soba (hot soba noodle soup), garnished with your favourite toppings.
