This dashi pack features Japanese round herring as its base, blended with bonito flakes, Hokkaido kelp, and matured soy sauce moromi—a fermented mash also known as “soy sauce solids.” The moromi enhances the umami of the broth. No additional salt is added beyond what’s naturally present in the ingredients.
