Origin: Hyogo pref.
Noodle type: Soumen
Boiling time: 1.5–2 min.
Feature:
This miniature wooden gift box recreates the traditional rope-tied crate used for Ibonoito soumen, making it an excellent choice for gifting.
Inside is the prestigious Black Label (Kuro-obi) grade, produced only during the coldest winter months by specially selected, highly skilled craftsmen. Made with premium wheat flour, water, and salt—without preservatives—these noodles are exceptionally fine, smooth, and delicately aromatic.
Cooking tip:
Untie the bundle before cooking. Bring plenty of water to a full boil (about 1 L per 100 g), add the noodles while loosening them, and cook for 1.5–2 minutes. Adjust the heat to prevent boiling over.
Drain immediately, rinse well under running cold water, and drain again before serving.
Store in cool dry place
