The peaches used in this gin are meticulously nurtured in Nogawa, Yamagata using Dokkon Water, which is among Japan’s highest-quality water. These prestigious peaches are known for their amazing fragrance, soft pulp and a sugar content that reaches a minimum of 14 degrees Brix. The harvest season ranges from mid-August to the end of September each year.

In this special edition, we have chosen to work with N.I.P 無名氏, a local gin producer, to capture a flavour that so often captivates our guests at city’super, the Yamagata peach. Using fresh peaches from Japan’s Yamagata Nogawa Farm, combined with juniper berries, coriander seeds, ginger and tea, this special edition comes with a sweet peach fragrance redolent of summer. This fragrance translates into a refreshing palate that is smooth and complex, full of fruit, sweetness and a lingering sensation of black tea, balanced out with the traditional gin spices and botanicals. Perfect for a summer gin and tonic or a refreshing martini, this gin is a one-of-a-kind issue, exclusive to city’super.
